After graduating with my masters in special education and elementary education, I thought I already knew everything about how to be an effective teacher. Cue the slap in the face!

Learning how to be a teacher is so much more than what you learn in your college years or during your student teaching experiences when you had the crutch of the actual teacher to hold you up. There are so many behind the scene things you learn during that first year that no book could ever teach you.

It’s scary, terrifying, flying at the seed of your pants while praying you don’t mess up every single second..

Luckily, I feel comfortable in my teacher shoes, and I want to help others.

Coming soon for your reading pleasure…

get excited 🙂
